Today´s inspiration: Omar Khayyam #INTEGRA

🔵As a part of project #INTEGRA, today we are publishing a poem from Omar Khayyam (1048.-1131.).
🔵 Omar was born in Nishapur, Iran. He was a Persian mathematician, poet and astronomer.
🔵 He also wrote treatises on mechanics, geography, mineralogy, music, and Islamic theology.
🔵 Iran and Persian speaking countries, Khayyám has had an impact on literature and societies through the translation of his works and popularization by other scholars.

Visit from students of The Academy of Arts and Culture #INTEGRA

📝 On November 21st, within the project Integration of third country nationals through urban partnerships –#INTEGRA and project ˝Migration processes and cultural identity of EU˝ Centre for peace, nonviolence and human rights held a presentation to students of Academy for Arts and Culture Osijek.
📌Presentation showed students everything Centre for peace did during #INTEGRA campaign from begining of the project
📌Presentation contained information about the very essence about #INTEGRA project
🍪During the presentation, Centre for peace offered the students home made Barazek cookies which were a part of the campaign.

Today´s inspiration: Sergey Mikhaylovich Brin

Sergey Mikhaylovich Brin ( born August 21, 1973) is an American computer scientist and Internet entrepreneur.
Together with Larry Page, he co-founded Google. Brin immigrated to the United States with his family from the Soviet Union at the age of 6. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Maryland, College Park, following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps by studying mathematics, as well as computer science.
After graduation, he enrolled in Stanford University to acquire a PhD in computer science. There he met Page, with whom he built a web search engine. The program became popular at Stanford, and they suspended their PhD studies to start up Google in Susan Wojcicki’s garage in Menlo Park.

Today´s inspiration: Sheikh Abusaeid #INTEGRA

Today`s inspiration is Sheik Abusaeid. He was a famous Persian Sufi and poet who contributed extensively to the evolution of Sufi tradition.

The majority of what is known from his life comes from “The Mysteries of Unification” written by Mohammad Ibn Monavvar, one of his grandsons, 130 years after his death.

During his life his fame spread throughout the Islamic world, even to Spain. He was the first Sufi writer to widely use ordinary love poems as way to express and illuminate mysticism, and as such he played a major role in foundation of Persian Sufi poetry. He spent most of his life in Nishapur.

Khoda Hafez , usually shortened to Khodafez in Persian is a common parting phrase originating in the Persian language that used in Iran, Afghanistan, the Indian subcontinent and to a lesser extent, Azerbaijan, Iraq, and Kurdistan.
