From January 25th to 26th, we participated in the international event "Advocacy amid crises and cultural wars," organized by the Open Lithuania Foundation and partner organizations Civil Society Development Foundation (Romania), CNVOS (Slovenia), and Stefan Batory Foundation (Poland).

Alongside activists from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Portugal, Malta, Bulgaria, and Romania, we explored the challenges faced by NGOs in defending their ideas across Europe. Connecting experiences of practitioners, researchers, and lawyers, we gained a deeper understanding of specific issues organizations face in different contexts and identified common trends and models.

We:
- Analyzed social, political, and cultural factors influencing advocacy in various European countries.
- Exchanged experiences with other NGOs from Europe.
- Enhanced knowledge, particularly about utilizing innovative methods in advocacy.
- Discussed difficulties and failures in advocacy we have faced and currently face to be more effective, resilient, and robust in the future.
- Explored ways for NGO collaboration across borders, effective strategies, and tactics for achieving goals during uncertain times, examining the role of civil society in advocacy processes.
